Background
Founded over 30 years ago by principals Keith H. Walker and Robert W. Jensen, the firm has been involved in many facets of the arts and public relations. Jensen is an artist who provides the firm with its graphic needs, and Walker is the writer and primary business contact. Both contribute to everything the firm does in many ways. In the early years, Jensen concentrated on an interior design practice, to accomplish many residences as well as some major law offices in Los Angeles and around the country. Some twenty years ago, he began concentrating on his earlier interest in fine art, picking up brushes and producing some of the finest Impressionist style paintings of not only his native California, but also many parts of the world that he has visited in the past two decades, including China, Japan, England, France, Italy, Mexico and Spain. His art works are now in collections all over the world. For a more detailed biography, please visit TheDiscriminatingCollector.com where a catalogue raisonné of his work is being placed on-line. When their company was first formed, Walker was still actively involved at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios in Culver City, where he began as a publicist and achieved the post of manager of studio publicity over a period of some 12 years. During that time he was involved in the publicity and marketing campaigns for such films as Doctor Zhivago, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Grand Prix, and many others. After leaving MGM, he worked as an independent consultant to a number of the top public relations agencies based in Southern California, expanding his areas of expertise from films and television to the fine arts, including the first national blockbuster exhibition tour, The Treasures of Tutankhamun, as well as the major Museum of Modern Art exhibition of Picasso some twenty years ago. The Splendor of Dresden, In China, and The Armand Hammer Collections followed along with many others. |
